Maybe your hero is Oprah Winfrey or Albert Einstein. Those might be worthwhile heroes. However, what if you were to become your own hero? Your life is your story, and every story needs a hero. Your Higher Self is you. It’s the broader, wiser, all-knowing part of you.
By defining your Higher Self as the hero of your story, you have a chance to become that hero. To begin to live from the perspective of that hero.
The good news is that you get to start right where you are. You have access to higher perspectives that can take you to places you may only imagine right now.
Regardless of your starting point, you have all the resources available to you to reach new limits.
Set a time limit to reach your own hero status through your Higher Self that inspires you. A good timeframe to work with is three to five years from now.
Avoid the tendency to limit yourself. With your Higher Self as your hero to lead the way, you don’t have to know the “how” to get started. You just have to be clear on the desire and the essence of what you want to achieve. You can accomplish more than you know in three to five years when you depend on your Higher Self rather than your ego or outside forces.
You are your Higher Self. Which means you are a hero after all.
1. With your Higher Self as your hero, what do you want to accomplish? What can you achieve? What will you achieve? Make a list and then ask yourself how you could make it even better.
2. With your Higher Self as your hero, define your greatest attributes. What qualities do you have? What attributes would you have to possess in order to accomplish everything you want to accomplish? What attributes would you most want to experience for yourself?
3. With your Higher Self as your hero, define your highest life. How do you live your life? How do you spend your day? Who else is in your life? What types of things are you involved with? Where do you live? What’s truly important to you?
4. With your Higher Self as your hero, what are the goals you choose for yourself? You have accomplished so much and yet you’re not finished. Who do you want to become? What does the future hold for you? What are your highest dreams and desires?
5. With your Higher Self as your hero, make a plan to become your own hero from this higher perspective. Starting right where you are, what do you need to become the hero you’ve defined? What changes do you need to make in your life? What goals do you need to set and accomplish to become your hero? Imagine what needs to be done to transform from your current self into your highest possible hero.
6. Start now. Your Higher Self will guide you. This is the hardest part for most people. It’s inspiring to sit down and plan your future from your highest possible perspective. It’s a little harder to actually get going. Trust your Inner Guidance. Trust the process.
There’s no time like the present for embracing the highest part of you, to become the most incredible person you’ve ever known.
Be the hero of your story. Let your Higher Self lead the way. When someone asks you, “Who is your hero?” you can honestly say, “Me.”
