Reaching and dreaming bold never hurt anyone. Asking for ‘big and bold’ financial commitments may surprise you. While it’s true that an “unreasonable” request will likely be turned down, you would be surprised how often a request like that is successful.
So then why are we all too often scared to be bold and ask for what you know you’re worth? We’re scared of failure. It’s an old saying, but it rings very true – “nothing ventured, nothing gained.”
If you do make a bold request and are turned down, what did you lose? Nothing at all. But if you make a bold request and it’s accepted, what did you gain? The only limit is how large you make your request!
The only way you truly lose is if you sit back and don’t make that big request. If you stay comfortable with what you have and never reach for more, you most definitely won’t get it.
Every day, practice making a huge request – an unusually large one. If you made a few bold requests each day, and only a small handful of those requests are granted, your business would move so quickly you couldn’t keep up!
Of course, our first thought is always, “What will people think about me?” But when you can learn to put that aside, that’s when you reach your true potential. Besides, what people think about you is not always negative!
Many people are drawn towards bold requests. They see the value in what you have to offer and they see the value in you! They actually think more highly of you! A bold request demands attention. When you’re bold, you differentiate yourself from the crowd.
There are three ways you can double your income right away:
Double your client list
Double how much work is being done for each client
Double your fees.
Each one of these is a perfectly attainable goal…and they’re all guaranteed.
